Jaran Studios is a small creative studio formed in 2007 and based in Winston-Salem, NC. Although not the oldest comics studio around, we've teamed up with some of the most talented artists and creators in the comics industry, including Gerardo Sandoval, legendary Transformers artists James Raiz and Rob Armstrong, as well as Kurt Hathaway, Danimation, Misty "Sayda" Coats, Simon "Seed" Bork, and many more. At the moment, we're focused mainly on our Dawn of the Dread Force mini-series, but we hope to bring you more Dread Force comics, posters and graphic novels in the near future!

If you're a fan of DREAD FORCE you've probably noticed that the updates have been a bit sporadic for a while. One of our key creators' family members had some very serious health issues, which understandably caused him to have to put DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE on hold for a while, but thanks to God, that situation has improved dramatically and he'll be back to work with us starting in December. To all of our DREAD FORCE fans out there, thanks for your patience during this long wait and things should be back to normal, shortly. Please make sure you check DreadForce.com [link] for all the latest, as this DeviantArt journal doesn't always get updated as often as it should. :(

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that the DreadForce.com online store [link] is up and running. That means you no longer have to search through the bins at your local comic shop, desperately trying to find a copy of DAWN OF THE DREAD FORCE #0, because you can buy directly through our website! Well, you might not exactly be losing sleep, desperately searching for it, but if you want a book, or a poster, or a t-shirt, you now know where to find it. They make great gifts, too... :D
